    Product Information

    • premium water-based top coat that can be used in place of epoxy
    • tough and durable with glass-like shine
    • non-yellowing
    • environmentally safe - ultra low VOCs
    • can be used indoors and without PPE
    • one-part product which means no mixing and quick application
    • quick drying and can be applied every 2 hours
    • adheres to wood, metal, acrylic, glass and more
    • excellent for use on tumblers, instruments, paintings, crafts and so much more
    • can be brushed or sprayed
    • full curing time of 10 days but finished item can be used or shipped after 72 hours
    • minimum Temperature usage - 50°F (10°C) (Please check HYPERION Data Sheet for more information on humidity & temp for best performance )
    • can be used on children's toys as a protection
    • food Safe when dry
    • heat proof up to 212°F (100° Celsius)

    HOW TO USE:

    • use 3-3.5ml per 10oz of tumbler, so for a 20oz it would be 7.5ml, a 30oz 11ml etc.
    • First coats over glitter or fabric can be flood coats, use as much as you feel you need.
    • after coat 3, do a gentle sand (at this point if you've been flood coating, drop back to the recommended normal layer amount)
    • after that, sand as needed.  We do recommend one last sand prior to your last coat just to tidy any areas up but if your cup is fine, this is not necessary.

    I have 3 stars because I like it ok but it left brush streaks and small bumps on my tumbler even though I brushed it on smoothly. It also leaves a weird feeling to the tumbler. However, it may be user error but I can’t find instructions or help video anywhere other than what’s on their Facebook which doesn’t really explain step by step

    I am just starting with the Hyperion for the first time. I was using CrystaLac grand finale and it has taken me a few weeks to finish because I took my time I went to clean the rim and the CrystaLac slipped right off the cup. Trying the Hyperion and I’m on my first coat and already see a difference between the two. I’m not done yet and really nothing to post yet. But already liking the results.

    Like everything, Hyperion has definitely been a learning curve for me, but with enough patience, it makes an amazing, easy and gorgeous alternative for epoxy. I will never go back to epoxy. It’s made making my tumblers enjoyable again! Very happy and fast shipping too!

    This is the first time using Hyperion. This cup was sparkly but dull. I wanted a shiny coat. Not only is it shiny but you can’t feel the glitter anymore so it’s not rough. The finish is very smooth. I put 6 layers of Hyperion on this cup. Love it. I’ll be doing a lot more of my cups this way. It’s so much better than epoxy where you have to wear PPE to use it.
